How I Got Started

For the curious people out there, I got started doing chainmaille in 2002 after seeng it at our local Renaissance Faire in Sterling. I then bought a book called Great Wire Jewelry by Irene From Peterson and started making my own rings from galvanized wire from the hardware store and learning the patterns in the book. Eventually, I bought my rings to save on time and just kept making different designs from ideas I had, or things I had seen online. And now, it's one of my hobbies that I do in my spare time as my creative outlet, which I like to call "knitting with metal", so I still have a day job, but I get a lot of people asking me to make them things and figured it wouldn't hurt to start a site to see where it goes.
